Awards Announced for 2012 Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series

Series Promoter Ray Cook would like to announce the following
Contingency Awards that drivers will be gunning for during the
Eighth Annual running of the two-week mini-series.
More contingencies are coming in and will be announced as they
are official and it’s not too late if you’re interested
in getting in on the action with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals
Series please contact Ray Cook today.
As follows is the list of Contingency Awards:
*FK Rod Ends will award $100 cash to the Fastest Qualifier at
each series event.
*FK Rod Ends will award one (1) set of rod end products to each
series event winner.
*The Joie of Seating will award $100 cash to the highest finisher
each night with a full containment seat, head & neck restraint,
and fire extinguisher.
*Wilwood Engineering will award $50 product certificate to the
first non-transfer at each event.
*DBR Starters will award $100 product certificate to the 11th
place finisher at each event.
*Barry Wright Race Cars will award $100 product certificate to
the highest finishing Barry Wright Race Car at each event.
*Old Man’s Garage will award a ‘Weekly Warrior’
points fund and provide a $500 check to the highest point driver
after Screven and provide $500 check to the highest point driver
at the end of week two at Tazewell.
*GW Performance will award $50 product certificate to the highest
finishing GW Performance car.
*Wiles Driveshafts will award one (1) Carbon Fiber driveshaft
in a random drawing among the perfect attendance drivers of the
series to be held at Tazewell Speedway.
*MasterSbilt Race Cars will award $500 cash to the Championship
Crew Chief. They will also award $250 cash to the Championship
runner-up Crew Chief.
*Wildside Custom Trailers will award $1,000 cash to the Rookie
of the Year for the series.
*Ohlins Shocks will award $1,000 product certificate to the Champion,
$500 product certificate to the runner-up and $250 product certificate
to the third place finisher in the final point standings.
Champions of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series include:
Jeff Cooke of Spartanburg, SC in 2005; Anthony White of Clinton,
TN in 2006; Chris Madden of Gray Court, SC in 2007/2008 and most
recently in 2011; Tommy Kerr of Maryville, TN in 2009 and Jonathan
Davenport of Blairsville, GA in 2010. Chris Madden sits on the
all-time winners list at 17 wins.
