Schaeffer’s
Oil Southern Nationals Series Announces Loyalty Program and Unveils
2026 Schedule
(December
12, 2025) The twenty-second edition of the Schaeffer’s
Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing
and fueled by Sunoco will take center stage from July 12-25. The
2026 series schedule, which was released this morning at the Performance
Racing Industry (PRI) trade show by promoter Ray Cook, features
eleven events in a matter of only fourteen days. As the barnstorming
tour snakes through the states of Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina,
South Carolina, and Georgia, over $310,000 in purse money will
be up for grabs during the popular two-week miniseries.
Nine racetracks return to the series schedule from 2025 including
Wythe Raceway, Volunteer Speedway, Swainsboro Raceway, Screven
Motor Speedway, Toccoa Raceway, Senoia Raceway, Sugar Creek Raceway,
North Georgia Speedway, and Tazewell Speedway. A pair of new racetracks
join the Southern Nationals for 2026, as Harris Speedway in Rutherfordton,
North Carolina will play host to a $7,553 to win showdown on Tuesday,
July 14 and Little River Speedway in Modoc, South Carolina will
do the same on Thursday, July 16.
A total of six races will pay $7,500+ to the winner, while five
events will shell out a $10,000+ first place prize. The Southern
Nationals tour kicks off on Sunday, July 12 at the sprawling Wythe
Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia and concludes for the twenty-second
straight year at the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee
on Saturday, July 25. In between, races like the Scott Sexton
Memorial at Volunteer (TN) Speedway, the Rebel Yell at Screven
(GA) Motor Speedway, the 71st Anniversary Race at Toccoa (GA)
Raceway, the Roscoe Smith Memorial at Senoia (GA) Raceway, and
the Young Memorial at North Georgia Speedway will keep fans on
the edge of their seats.
In addition to over $310,000 in purse money, drivers competing
with the Southern Nationals tour in 2026 will also have a chance
to sign up for the new Loyalty Program that will pay show-up money
to the top five at each series event. Over $23,000 will be distributed
to the top five drivers in points throughout the year - $2,100
earmarked for each race. As part of the new Loyalty Program, the
top three drivers with perfect attendance will receive $500 each
race night, while fourth and fifth will receive $300. More details
on the Southern Nationals Loyalty Program - including pit pass
and entry fee perks - will be released in the upcoming weeks,
but interested drivers can inquire for more information by contacting
Ray Cook at 828-360-5353.
The Championship point fund also sits at over $21,000 for the
top five in final Southern Nationals points. The Champion will
receive $10,053 for his efforts, while second through fifth will
receive $5,053, $2,553, $2,053, and $1,553 respectively. If any
drivers fulfill the requirements to be eligible for point fund
money and sit outside of the top five, they will receive $1,053
following the completion of the tour on Saturday, July 25 at Tazewell
Speedway. With purse money, Loyalty Program money, and point fund
money, drivers will be racing wheel-to-wheel for over $355,000
during the lucrative two-week stretch.
