Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series Thunders into Thunderhill Raceway on March 27-28

After kicking off the 2026 season in successful fashion last weekend in the Palmetto State, rounds three and four of the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco campaign will take place on March 27-28 at Thunderhill Raceway!  The Grand Reopening weekend at the Summertown, Tennessee venue will start with an open practice session on Thursday leading into two big Super Late Model specials with over $64,000 in purse money up for grabs.  Friday’s program will boast a $5,053 winner’s check, while Saturday’s grand finale will shell out a hefty $15,053 first place prize.

Over the last almost two years, track workers have moved 200,000 yards of dirt to completely raise the pits for better parking for race teams.  Fan parking has also been improved during the refurbishment.  Other improvements include an all-new speaker system, new scoring loop, new scales, new bleachers, some new lights, and fresh paint on everything.

On Thursday, March 26, an open practice session will be held at Thunderhill Raceway from 6:00pm-9:00pm.  The cost will be $100.00 per car to take part in the practice.  Joining the Super Late Models on the racing card on Friday night will be the 602 Late Model ($1,000 to win), Bomber ($500 to win), Mini Stock ($500 to win), and Kids Mini Cup ($300 to win) divisions.  Along with the Super Late Models on Saturday evening, the Modified Sport ($750 to win), Factory Stock ($600 to win), and Mod Lite ($500 to win) classes will help keep fans on the edge of their seat all night long.

For the action-packed shows on both Friday and Saturday, the pits will open at 3:00pm (local time), the grandstands will open at 5:00pm, and the drivers meeting is set for 5:30pm.  Grandstand admission on Friday will be $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids, while pit admission on Friday will be $50.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids.  Grandstand admission on Saturday will be $30.00 for adults and $20.00 for kids, while pit admission on Saturday will be $50.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids.  A two-day pit pass will also be available for $100.00 for adults and $50.00 for kids.

Thunderhill Raceway is located at 75 N. Old Military Road in Summertown, Tennessee.  You can contact the track via phone at 931-628-5504 or via email at thunderhill2025@gmail.com.  If you can’t make it to Thunderhill Raceway this weekend, watch every lap of the action on Friday and Saturday LIVE on FloRacing.
