Wet Weather Forecast Postpones Beckley USA 100 to October 9-10

(April 23, 2025) With wet weather in the forecast for Mount Hope, West Virginia on April 25-26, officials from Beckley Motor Speedway, the United Late Model Series, and the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series all made a joint decision this evening to postpone the annual running of the ‘Beckley USA 100.’ The two-day extravaganza at the Mountaineer State oval has been rescheduled to October 9-10. The same exact shows are planned for October, as a $4,053 winner’s check will be on the line that Thursday night and Friday’s victor will receive a $15,053 payday.

“You hate it anytime you have to cancel or postpone a show due to weather, but fortunately we were able to find a makeup date that was suitable for all parties involved,” said Spring Nationals owner Ray Cook tonight. “There are some other big shows in the area on that Saturday and Sunday, so moving the Beckley USA 100 to Thursday and Friday, October 9-10 will hopefully help everyone. A lot of big money can be won that weekend and I can’t thank Randy Kinder, Joe Rush, and the ULMS Series for all working together to make this possible!”

Next up for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco will be a Peach State doubleheader on May 2-3. A visit to Sugar Creek Raceway in Blue Ridge, Georgia will kick off the weekend with a $7,553 to win showdown next Friday. The historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia will then wrap up the double-dip next Saturday, as a $10,053 first place prize will be up for grabs. Wil Herrington currently finds himself sixteen markers ahead of Garrett Smith in the Spring Nationals points chase heading into the month of May.
